Walk and Talk Counselling
Not all people feel comfortable talking in a counseling room, some find it easier to share whilst being outside and connecting with nature, surrounding colours and fresh air.
Walking and talking therapy is when you and I walk together and connect with nature. Whilst walking together at your pace, you are gently encouraged to share your struggles and life situations.
“As someone who has tried CBT and talking therapy but felt awkward being
face to face with a stranger in a therapy room, seeing Annabelle is a different experience. Annabelle puts me at ease and having the fresh air, plants, birds, mindful tasks like planting seeds, weeding, touching and smelling the herbs, takes away all my self-consciousness and allows me to think, feel and speak freely. It has given me the courage and clarity to make really significant changes in my life, and ongoing support to navigate any difficulties and maintain the positives.“
Online and Telephone Counselling
Online or telephone sessions can be really beneficial for those unable to travel, who need the extra flexibility and/or prefer to talk from the comfort of their own home. Sessions can take place via Zoom, Microsoft teams, or your telephone number at a regular weekly time to suit you.
Online Group Therapy for Neurodivergent Parents
Are you neurodivergent and a parent? Do you find the challenges of being autistic or ADHD make it hard at times to be the parent and person you want to be? Perhaps you feel anxious, sensory overwhelm, irritable, exhausted, touched out, over stimulated, like you struggle with the noise and/or are unable to regulate your emotions?
If so, I’m setting up online weekly group therapy sessions for you. Would you be interested?
They will take place during the day on a Tuesday or Friday, at a cost of around £20 a session, lasting for 60 – 90 minutes. Exact details to be decided. A different focused topic with supportive chat each week, led by me, Annabelle, a late diagnosed autistic and ADHD mum and counsellor.
