How do you work?
I work with adults either walk and talk, online or via telephone with sessions that last 50 minutes. I work within the ethical guidelines set by the BACP to ensure safe best practice with all therapy confidential.
Who can benefit from counselling & psychotherapy?
People of all ages, backgrounds, religions, races, and cultures can benefit from counselling. We all experience times when we feel different, lost, or isolated or find it difficult to get motivated about anything. However, you can significantly benefit from talking to someone who is empathetic, impartial, kind, and non-judgemental.
What happens next?
We can arrange to meet for an 15 minute free initial consultation so that we can explore your needs, expectations, and goals. We can then determine how we will work together to find the best way forward and decide how often you want to see me.
How long will therapy take?
The length of therapy is determined by your goals and presenting problem. Therapy sessions would normally be on a weekly basis. I will try and meet at the same time on the same day every week to suit your schedule. I have daytime and some evening appointments available. Psychotherapy can have very effective results in short periods of time. Short-term and long-term therapy is available.
How much will therapy cost?
The cost for therapy sessions are £45 per hour. Payment must made in advance via bank transfer.
Where will the sessions be held?
Walk and Talk sessions can take place in Craig-Y-Nos Country Park. Online sessions take place via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
